Analysis of the news - BBC

  • Studio newsreaders
  • Field reporters
  • Mode of address
  • Interviewing experts and witnesses
  • Actuality footage
When watching a news broadcast by the BBC each one of the presenters are very formal. They enunciate every word clearly, and speak in a very formal manner. They sit in a straight position which also reflects on the way they speak, it makes them look very sophisticated. The tone of their voice is very monotone, and stays like this all the war through the program. When the show opens they open with a polite welcome and then start reading the news.
