Proposal for TV Documentary

Title - British Tea Party is going to be the title of my documentary




Target Audience - the target audience for my documentary is going to be men and women aged between 17 and 36 and possibly older. This program will probably appeal to people who have a special interest in baking and cookery. 




Format - the format of my documentary is going to be following the format of The Great British Bake Off, it will be following the journey of what it takes to make a certain food - the stages taken, ingredients, baking, etc. Even though it is following the same format as The Great British Bake Off, it won't be including many different people, it will mainly be focussing on one person baking, it will be more like a Nigella Lawson or Lorraine Pascale type program, but I want to have the look of The Great British Bake Off.




Synopsis - For my factual I was thinking that three different foods could be made, a starter, main and desert.

My documentary is possibly going to include: cutaways, close-ups, voice overs and will be presenter led.

Genre - the channel that this program will be most suited for is either BBC1 or BBC2, which is where The Great British Bake Off airs.
